Jeffrey Cameron
My name is Jeff Cameron, and I’ve been working as a registered massage therapist since 2019. My approach to massage therapy has been strongly informed by my many years working in education. I focus my appointments on making sure patients have a clear understanding of what is going on with their body. This has been helpful when working together with the my patients to achieve their goals.
I believe that the best health care empowers the patient. I strive to provide my patients with the guidance and tools necessary to reduce their dependence on frequent recurring appointments. My approach to massage therapy is rooted in the belief that, whenever possible, effective treatment should do more than just provide temporary relief. I am dedicated to an evidence-based practice, focusing on identifying and treating the root cause of physical discomfort rather than simply managing symptoms. That being said, I also have plenty of experience helping patients manage chronic conditions that require ongoing care.
Additionally, I have experience with pre-natal massage and working with professional athletes. By leveraging my background in exercise and strength training, I endeavour to help patients develop injury resiliency.
Beyond the Clinic Before entering the world of massage therapy, I earned a degree in English Literature with a minor in Philosophy from UBC. I then moved to Japan, where I taught English in public schools for four years. These experiences sharpened my critical thinking skills and taught me how to connect and empathize with people from myriad diverse backgrounds.
When I’m not in the clinic, you may find me woodworking, out on my motorcycle, or typing away on my 75-year old typewriter. In the winters, you might find me at the curling rink with my wife.

Sami Reid Cooney R.Ac, Dip. Phyto
Sami Reid Cooney approaches medicine as a storyteller, believing that the human body carries a living history within its tissues. As a Registered Acupuncturist (CCHPBC) with a five-year dual diploma in Acupuncture and Phytotherapy from Pacific Rim College, her practice, Tenacious Medicine, represents a decade of international immersion in global healing traditions. From the clinical wards of Zanzibar’s Mnazi Mmoja hospital to providing trauma-informed care for refugees in Berlin with Acupuncturists Without Borders, Sami’s background is as diverse as the patients she treats. Her time spent lecturing on Five Element Theory at the Municipal Library of Prague further refined her ability to translate complex traditional concepts into accessible, clinical insights for a modern patient roster.
This global foundation is balanced by an extensive background in somatic and emotional release. Having completed 350 hours of Thai Massage training in Montreal and Thailand, alongside a 200-hour yoga teacher certification in Guatemala, Sami integrates physical structural work with deep nervous system regulation. Her clinical focus is heavily informed by trauma physiology and the activation of the vagus nerve, aimed at guiding the body out of “fight or flight” and into a restorative parasympathetic state. By bridging the gap between corporeal tension and mind-body integration, she creates a safe, grounded space for individuals navigating PTSD, neurodivergence, or the lingering effects of physical and emotional trauma.
Sami’s clinical passions are also deeply personal, fueled by her own health journey and a commitment to specialized care in concussion recovery and reproductive health. She offers a dedicated, compassionate approach to conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, and fertility challenges, utilizing a comprehensive toolkit that includes precise needlework, cupping, along with targeted dietary and supplement support. Drawing on seven years of experience as an international scuba diving instructor, she often incorporates specialized breathwork into her sessions, helping patients “dive deeper” into the quiet, restorative space of their treatments.
Now practicing with profound reverence on the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ and Lekwungen peoples, Sami is dedicated to facilitating an integrated harmony that empowers every patient on their unique path to wellness.

Quinn Jones RMT
(E.) Quinn Jones, RMT. My experience with massage therapy started when I found myself bedridden with a sports related back injury. I tried resting and stretching and eventually consulted a doctor. The doctor prescribed pain medication and told me to continue resting until it got better. After several days without improvement I sought the help of a Registered Massage Therapist. At the end of the first treatment I was able to move without pain, and several treatments later I was back to normal. I knew then that this was something I had to pursue. I believe that by putting the body into a restful and relaxed state you enhance its natural ability to heal. My goal during treatment is to create an environment in which a person can feel the pressure of daily life melt away. This helps the body to repair and allows therapeutic techniques to be more effective. Some specific areas that I have experience working with clients are: *Chronic muscle pain *Sports injuries *Jaw/ TMJ dysfunction or pain *Anxiety and depression *Abdominal & pelvic conditions (PCOS/endometriosis/Crohn’s disease /colitis/post abdominal surgery) *Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome *Insomnia *Scar mobility *Frozen shoulder or rotator cuff injuries * People who enjoy massage as a part of their wellness routine
I feel so fortunate to have the chance to work with people and help them improve their health. Quinn is available at the clinic: Monday 1:30 – 7:30 pm, Tuesday 2:30 – 6:30pm, Wednesday 11am – 7pm, Saturday 9am – 2pm
